The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with Association of Computer Science Engineers, Computer Society of India(CSI) and Institution Innovation Council (IIC, MHRD, Govt of India) organised National Level Technical Fest “SYNSARA 2K19” on 20.09.19 and 21.09.19.

The 18th National Level Technical Symposium ” CYBERTRON 2K18 ” is hosted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering . The tech fest took place on 3rd August 2018 and was inaugurated by Mr.M.Kaushik , Head Technology, RIPE Consulting Services who graced the occasion.

The 17th National Level Technical Symposium XENIX 17, was conducted on 16th August 2017. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Suresh A Shan, Head-MMFSL BITS-Innovation & Future Technology, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, Chennai, Mr. K.S.Sivakumar, Head-GSM, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, Chennai and Dr. K.M. Suceendran, GPHR Global Workforce Management Head, TCS, Chennai.

STAFF DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS (Sponsored by AICTE)

Department of CSE organized a AICTE sponsored Staff Development Program in the month of April 2010 on the topic “Recent Developments in Computing”. The following topics were discussed.

Nano Technology
Ubiquitous Computing
Knowledge Management
Bio information and Bio Computing
Enhancing Teaching Excellence and integration of Technology in class room teaching.

Twelve day long Staff Development Program proved to be an eye opener to the upcoming trends in Tele-Medicine and E-Health. The program included presentations and sessions on various technologies in the field, at TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES, Vadapalani and SRMC, Porur in association with Sri Sai Ram Engg College. The 2 week journey left with minds set at pace to work for the progress in Tele-Medicine and related fields.

Department of CSE in association with ECE conducted a seminar on “Intelluctual Property Rights” at TCS on 24th April 2008. The faculty from all the departments attended the seminar.

Bullet Department of CSE in association with TCS conducted a Staff Development Programme on “Web Services and Application ” sponsored by AICTE during 05th May-17th May 2008.

Department of CSE organized an AICTE sponsored Staff Development Programme on “Instructional Design and Delivery” on 8th and 9th January 2009. The programme was presided over by Prof.N.S.Ramaswamy, Indian Heritage Academy. The coordinators Ms.R.Bama & Ms.V.Kavitha conducted the programme in an awesome manner.
