Suseedharan K S from our department 2027 batch won 1st prize in Karate Sparring (kumite), held at Tiruchengode on 12.04.2025 conducted by National Shotokan Karate Federation, 19th All India Karate and Kung-Fu Championship and rewarded with ₹40,000 cash prize.
Sanjai K, Sri Sanjith AV from 2027 batch participated in “Techfiesta” and won 2nd place with Rs.1000 as cash price conducted in CIT, Chennai on 30/07/2025.
Swetha Sankara Kumar from CSE 2027 batch has been selected for Google Developers Groups On Campus Organizer.This is the 4th consecutive year our department students have been selected for Google Developers Groups (GDG) On Campus Organizer for Sri Sairam Engineering College.

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Mizoram University organized an expert talk on “Journey of Smart India Hackathon: Transforming Ideas into Innovation.” The session featured Sri Raman M (IV CSE, 2026 Batch) as the Student Guest Speaker, who shared insights on the journey and impact of the Smart India Hackathon.

S.Sainikasri and Rithuparna B from the 2028 batch won 3rd prize in the Paper Presentation event and received Rs.500 cash prize conducted by IPR cell of Sri Sairam Engineering College on 10/09/2025.

Harish Raghavendra S from the CSE 2028 Batch participated in the TGKF TN State Karate Do Championship 2026 held on 11/01/2026 at Coimbatore and has been selected to represent at the Nationals in Mumbai.He achieved remarkable success in the championship with the following accomplishments: Gold in U21 Kumite, Silver in U21 Kata, Silver in Senior Kata, and Silver in Senior Kumite, bringing pride to the CSE department.

Team InnoBytes – RAMANI S , SANJAY AJ , RAMPRAKASH S , THARUN P from 2027 Batch have secured 3rd place with a cash prize of Rs.4000 at the TECHCEPTION (Coding & UI/ UX Design Event) during TITANIUM 2026 – India’s Biggest TechFest Organized by Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai on 12th February 2026.

Team CODEJAM – Adithiya N , Joel Deva , Mythrean ,Jason Devaraj from 2028 batch has secured 1st place at the National Level 24-Hour Hackathon – INCEPTO, conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham School of Engineering, Vengal, Chennai on 18/02/2026. They were awarded a cash prize of ₹10,000 and an internship opportunity at Softrate Technologies.

RAMANI S CSE (2027 Batch) has received the Best Student Volunteer Award 2025 (IEEE Reliability Society) during the IEEE Foundation Day Celebration held on 16th February 2026 at Sri Sairam Engineering College

Harshitha M, Monica G, and Swethika S from CSE 2028 batch have secured the 2nd prize along with a cash award of ₹5,000 in the Sustainable Concept Pitch event conducted on Feb 14 2026 as part of Titanium 26, a technical fest at Rajalakshmi Engineering College Chennai


P.HARIHARAN of CSE 2028 batch have secured 1st Prize in ALGO-X event at TECHNOX 3.0, a National Level Technical Symposium conducted by Agni College of Technology on 14/02/2026.

Rajkumar R V & his team from the CSE 2028 batch have secured the Second Prize worth ₹10,000 in “TECHNOVA Hackathon ’26”, organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Coimbatore Institute of Technology.

Our College Men’s Handball Team participated in the Chief Minister’s Trophy match held on 01/09/2025 and secured Third Place, receiving a prize money of ₹9000. The following students from the CSE department were part of the team and have been selected for the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT) Team, Kanchipuram to participate in the State Level Tournament: Abinesh M (2026 Batch) and Kannan N (2028 Batch).

Team from the 2027 batch – V.JOTHIKA , S SRIVADIVAMBIGAI have been awarded the Overall Winner under the Future Tech category at the National Level Project Competition – INNOVENTIA 2K25, organized by St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology, OMR, Chennai on 19th September 2025.

The team PRIZM comprises the members Mitul Arun, Venkat kaushal, Sharrun anthony and Jaswanth L from the 2027 batch have won the first place in the IEEE SPS ISPA 2025 event held on 6th and 7th October 2025 and were awarded with ₹15000 as cash prize conducted by IEEE SPS Chapter of Sri Sairam Engineering College.

In the Anna University Zonal Chess Tournament (Women) held on 11/09/2025 at Madras Engineering College, the college women’s chess team secured the Gold Medal. Savitha N from the CSE 2026 Batch was part of the winning team.

GOWTHAM K, JAYA SURIYA T R,KAMALESHWARAN P, PRANAV A S, from CSE 2028 batch have participated in SAI TECHGRAIL and won 2nd place at INFOVISTA conducted by the department of IT and won ₹3000 cash price at Sri Sairam Engineering College on 28/10/2025.

Nithika O M from CSE 2027 batch have participated in TECHVISTRA’25 and won 1st place at Buzz 2 code with ₹2500 cash price conducted at Dr MGR Eductional and Research Institute on 27/10/2025.

Students from the CSE 2028 Batch, Sarmitha S and Sainikasri Dhebadhrshini K, participated in the The Bharat Scouts and Guides National Camp held at Kannada Bhavan, Moodbidri, Karnataka. As part of the camp, they underwent STEM Education training for three days (26.10.2025 – 28.10.2025) at Alva’s Degree College, Moodbidri.During the camp, they presented on the topic “Birds Seen in and Around the Campus” on 28.10.2025. Sarmitha S and Sainikasri Dhebadhrshini K, along with team members from different states, secured 2nd Prize, while Dhebadhrshini, participating with another team, also achieved 1st Place in the competition.

Balamurugan S from the 2027 batch has been featured among the *Top 2 Student Developer Champions in the UiPath Community Newsletter (October 2025)* for his remarkable contributions to the automation community.He earned the title of *UiPath Student Developer Champion in March 2025 and has since empowered 150+ students through various automation initiatives.His recent event, “Transforming Automation into Sustainable Solutions led to 15 innovative ideas being developed into impactful technical projects — motivating students to turn their curiosity into real-world solutions.

LEO Selvaragavan of CSE 2027 batch got the Best Entertainer Award in the International 68th Leo Day Celebrations held in Sri Sairam Engineering College on 05.12.2025.

Bala Murugan S from CSE 2027 batch has been selected as the Unstop Campus Ambassador .Unstop is a leading platform that connects students with career-building opportunities, contests, and community events.This achievement reflects his dedication, leadership qualities, and commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for the student community. As a Campus Ambassador, he will represent our institution, collaborate with various groups, and help connect students with valuable platforms and initiatives.

Balamurugan S from the CSE 2027 Batch received the “Best Student of the Year Award” from the Youth United Council of India (YUCI) during the Youth United Festival 2025, supported by the Government of India, held on 06/12/2025 at Raj Park Hotel, Chennai.

Delighted to share that the following CSE students were among the Top 5 participants who scored full marks in the Children’s Day Quiz conducted on 14/11/2025 at Dr. Kalam Library, Sri Sairam Engineering College. The achievers are Keerthana (CSE, 2027 Batch), Yeswant V (CSE, 2029 Batch), and Karthiga Murugan (CSE, 2027 Batch).

The IEEE RMC Ideation & Pitchfest 2025 was held at VNR VJIET, Hyderabad on 8th & 9th November 2025, organized by IEEE Region 10 Membership Development Committee (RMC). The team comprising Vianney Infant Raj, Karthik V, Jaswand S, and Balaji AV from the CSE 2027 Batch secured a position among the Top 5 teams in the competition.

Shakthimeena G and Yugesh, representing Team Replicants, secured 1st Place in a National-Level Hackathon organized by Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College. The team was awarded a cash prize of ₹5,000 in recognition of their innovative approach and technical excellence in the competition.

The team Nizhal Vizhi from the 2020–2028 batch secured First Prize in Rental UI/UX Development at NIRAL ’26, conducted at Anna University, India, on 14th March 2026. The team was awarded a cash prize of ₹2,000 in recognition of their creativity and innovation in design and development.

The team from the 2028 batch proudly SECURED 2nd POSITION, along with a cash prize of ₹500, at Nanotech Fest 2.0, conducted at Sri Sairam Engineering College on 6th February 2026, marking a remarkable achievement through teamwork and innovation

Team Innovators from the 2027 Batch secured Overall 2nd Prize in IEEE Nanotech Fest 2.0, conducted by Sri Sairam Engineering College on behalf of the IEEE Nanotechnology Council on 06.03.2026, and received a cash prize of ₹1,000. Sairam SDG Innovathon 4.0 Grand Finale: The project “Smart Aquaculture” (SDG 14) developed by Santosh S R, Harish Kumar M, and Radheshyam R (III CSE) secured 1st Prize in the Sairam SDG Innovathon 4.0 Grand Finale under the mentorship of Ms. A. Sheela.

The project “Fire Guard” (SDG 9) developed by Harish Kumar A, Parthipan Raja M, and Tharun S (III CSE) secured 1st Prize in the Sairam SDG Innovathon 4.0 Grand Finale under the guidance of Ms. R. Deepika.

The project “Alert Squad” (SDG 5) developed by S Srivadivambigai, M Sharmitha, and V Jothika (III CSE) secured 2nd Prize in the Sairam SDG Innovathon 4.0 Grand Finale.

Sairam SDG Inspirathon 3.0: The project “Rescue Hub” (SDG 11) developed by Mahalakshmi M, Nausheen Romaisa A, and Kavya A (IV CSE) secured 1st Prize in Sairam SDG Inspirathon 3.0 under the guidance of Ms. R. Deepika.

The project “V ASK” (SDG 12) developed by Kaaviya L S, Savitha N, and Kirthika C (IV CSE) secured 1st Prize in Sairam SDG Inspirathon 3.0 under the guidance of Ms. V. Kavitha.

The project “Gaming-based Physiotherapy” (SDG 17) developed by Dhinesh Krishna S B, Sakthi Ganesh D, and Abinesh M (IV CSE) secured 1st Prize in Sairam SDG Inspirathon 3.0 under the mentorship of Dr. D. Kavitha.

The project “HERA – PCOD Tracker” (SDG 10) developed by Aakash Raj R, Deepak B, and Sri Raman M (IV CSE) secured 2nd Prize in Sairam SDG Inspirathon 3.0 under the guidance of Mr. M. Balamurugan.

The team consisting of Mugilan B (2026 Batch), Shiva Guru K (2026 Batch), Nanda Kumar J (2026 Batch), and Pragkya S (2027 Batch) secured the II Position in the International BUILD2GETHER Hackathon, winning a cash prize of ₹1,20,000, showcasing exceptional innovation and teamwork.

The team comprising Roshini R, Divya Dharshini R, Nesika, and Janush D (CSE) secured the 12th Position in the International BUILD2GETHER Hackathon, winning a cash prize of ₹12,000.

The team consisting of Monish J, Bharath Kumar A, Yuvaraj S, and Sujith S (CSE) secured the 25th Position in the International BUILD2GETHER Hackathon, winning a cash prize of ₹12,000.

The team comprising Kavya A (IV CSE), Nausheen Romaisa A (IV CSE), Vignesh J (CSE), and Srinivasan P (III CSE) secured the 52nd Position and won a cash prize of ₹2,500 in the International BUILD2GETHER Hackathon.

The team consisting of Kaaviya L S (IV CSE), Kirthika C (IV CSE), Suhas V (III CSE), and Harish Kumar A (III CSE) secured the 73rd Position and won a cash prize of ₹1,000 in the International BUILD2GETHER Hackathon.

The team comprising Mugilan A, Ragaventhan R, Ramprakash S, and Kishore S B K (CSE) secured the 97th Position and won a cash prize of ₹1,000 in the International BUILD2GETHER Hackathon.

The team consisting of Danish Raj D, Vishali A, Shanjana R, and Abirami S R (CSE) secured the 99th Position and won a cash prize of ₹1,000 in the International BUILD2GETHER Hackathon.

Students from the CSE Department, Anjali E (III CSE, 2027 Batch) and Sainikasri S (II CSE, 2028 Batch), represented the institution at the 29th Indian Youth Parliament – National Session 2026, held from 20th to 23rd March 2026. The national session brought together around 800 selected delegates including youth leaders, scholars, researchers, and policy experts from across India. The session focused on the theme “Indian Languages: Panch Parivartan – Viksit Bharat@2047,” emphasizing the role of Indian languages in nation-building, democratic engagement, and preserving cultural identity.
